Frequently Asked Questions

How can I become a member of the Delphians?

In applying for membership in a Delphian Chapter, I understand that the pleasure and benefits that I receive will be directly proportional to my participation in the Chapter, Assembly and Foundation activities.

The purpose of the Assembly includes:

1. To be an educational and social organization for personal growth through mental stimulation by discussion of written seminars in a chapter group setting;
2. To support University of Houston scholarships for deserving students and to support the granting of gifts to university departments that benefit all students at the University of Houston.

Membership includes the following benefits:

1. Membership in a chapter of applicant’s choice;
2. Stimulating and educational seminars on varying topics;
3. Membership in the Houston Assembly of Delphian Chapters and the right to participate in its many activities and events;
4. The privilege and opportunity to participate in activities for the H.A.D.C Scholarship Foundation Fund, including attending and supporting our wonderful Scholars.

An Application for Membership should be accompanied by $100.00, which pays for enrollment costs, the written seminars and a yearbook. Membership is not transferable to another person. A person invited to membership must designate a chapter in which to participate.
