Scholarship Foundation Fund

Scholarship Luncheon at University of Houston

The first Delphian scholarship to a University of Houston student was awarded in 1930. Since that time, the Delphians have provided more than $1,500,000 for the benefit of students at the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Downtown. More than 500 scholarships have been awarded continuously since then.

Currently there are two different Delphian scholarships. Each provides $2,000/semester to qualified students for fall and spring semesters. The Delphian Foundation Scholarship is open to qualified women undergraduates at both the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Downtown. The other, Delphian Endowment Scholarship, is available to both qualified men and women undergraduates at the University of Houston and the University of Houston-Downtown campuses.

Primary funding for scholarships and grants is generated by direct contributions from members, donors and the Delphian chapter fundraising.

Applications for the Delphian Endowment Scholarship are also submitted to the Assembly. The application can be found on this website or may be obtained through the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid,  University of Houston Central or Downtown campuses, the UH website, and the UHD website.

The Houston Assembly of Delphian Chapters and The Houston Assembly of Delphian Chapters Scholarship Foundation Fund at their sole discretion have the right to approve, offer, and fund the scholarships. The application is in no way an offer of a scholarship.
